Web Page Design and Development IST 217
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of World Wide Web home page design using the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and a simple HTML editor. Students will gain extensive hands-on experience creating Web pages using HTML tags for links, tables, forms, and incorporating images. Additionally, the course will present an introduction to basic web page scripting and web database interfacing. Web publishing software such as Microsoft Front Page will also be explored. Quality design elements and style will be considered throughout the course.Prerequisite: IST 105 or IST 106.
